He graduated first in his class from the University of Maryland Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. Then, he completed a three-year post-doctoral residency in the specialty of orthodontics at the University of Maryland, receiving his specialty certificate in orthodontics.

A Suma Cum Laude graduate, Dr. Leiss received many awards including the University Gold Medal and induction into the national dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon.

He is a member in good standing of the American Association of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, The Pennsylvania Dental Association, the Chester Delaware County Dental Society, and the American Association for Functional Orthodontics.

Dr. Leiss has been married to his high school sweetheart, Dayna, for 21 years. They have three boys and one girl. Free time is spent with the family. Dr. Leiss is involved in a variety of community and church activities. The integrity that is evident in his personal life shines through in his dedication to creating beautiful smiles.
